Admissions

Fellowships are offered to meritorious students with score above 90 % aggregate in 10+2 in science subjects for both graduation and post-graduation courses. The fellowship will be in the form of a one-time concession in annual tuition fees for the duration of the course.

Program offered

  • Bachelor of Technology in Bioengineering - 4 years
    • Eligibility Criteria: 50% aggregate marks or equivalent in 10+2, science stream, maths/biology for general category, 45% for reserved category.
    • Specific Requirement: PCMB preferred
    • Entrance: NEET, JEE (Paper I), CET
  • Integrated M. Tech. Program in Bioengineering - 5 years
    • Eligibility Criteria: 50% aggregate marks or equivalent in 10+2, science stream, maths/biology for general category, 45% for reserved category.
    • Specific Requirement: PCMB preferred
    • Entrance: NEET, JEE (Paper I), CET
  • M.Tech. in Environmental Bioengineering - 2 years
    • Eligibility Criteria: Bachelor’s Degree in B.E. / B.Tech. Environmental Engineering / Chemical Engineering / Ceramic Technology / Mechanical / Metallurgy / Civil Engineering / Mining Engineering / Biochemical Engineering / Biotechnology / Instrumentation Engineering or other allied Engineering Branches is required.     • Specific Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree Branch is relevant with minimum 50% marks or equivalent CGPA
    • Entrance: Valid GATE score / PERA of MIT-ADT University
  • M.Sc. in Industrial Biotechnology
    • Eligibility Criteria: B.Sc. degree in Life Sciences / Biotechnology/ Microbiology/Chemistry/ Biotechnology or other allied Science Branches with minimum 50 % marks in aggregate or equivalent.
  • Ph.D. in Bioengineering
    • Eligibility Criteria: Candidates from science and technology background seeking admission to the Ph.D. Program, whether full time or part time, shall have to possess requisite percentage of marks / grade point average in qualifying examination.
    • Specific Requirement: For candidates with M.Sc. qualification-The required minimum qualification for admission to a Ph.D.
      Program shall normally be a two years Master’s or M.Phil. Degree from any accredited Indian or Foreign University in the relevant field. She/he must have obtained either a minimum of 60% marks or Equivalent Grade in the M.Phil. degree or in the Master’s Degree (for all disciplines except Engineering and Technology). In addition, overall 60% at all academic levels will be desirable.For candidates with M.Tech./B.Tech. qualification-Applicants with M. Tech. / B.Tech. / M.E./M.S. qualification in relevant disciplines with excellent academic record with minimum CGPA of 6.0 on a 10 point scale or equivalent or 60% marks and with 60% aggregate in Xth , XIIth and B.Tech. /B.E. will be considered eligible for admission in Ph.D. Programs in Engineering and Technology.Applicants with M.B.B.S./BDS degree or equivalent in relevant discipline with excellent academic record with minimum CGPA of 5.5 on a 10 point scale or equivalent or 55% marks may be considered eligible for admission to Ph.D. Programs in the relevant field.

      Foreign/ NRI applicants / Applicants with a Masters‟ degree from a foreign university must apply with an equivalence certificate of AIU along with the Online Application Form

    • Entrance: GATE / NET / PET of MIT-ADT University

Admission Process

  • Candidate applies through the online Application Form.
  • All the admissions are done on the basis of the merit as per the UGC guideline.
  • Students need to appear for the entrance test NEET/JEE/MHCET or PERA CET conducted by the University and then has to undergo valid GD/PI round if required.
  • Based on the score merit list is declared.
  • Final Admissions after Document verification.

Refund of Fees*: New Admission

If student chooses to withdraw from the programme of study or cancel the admission, in which he/she is enrolled, the fees paid by the said student will be refunded as detailed below:

Note: In case of Serial

  • In the above table, 10% of the aggregate fee will be charged as processing charges from the refundable amount.
  • Any instrument/equipment/ gadget or books and stationery purchased from / through the Institute is not refundable.
  • In case of any dispute regarding this fee policy, the decision of the Vice Chancellor of MIT ADT University would be final & binding.
  • If the student has taken admission by paying a token amount and subsequently applied for cancellation of admission, then the concerned student has to pay the deficit amount, if any, of refund fees percentage, then only the original documents will be handed over.
