Host-pathogen interaction netwrok of S. aureus and Human

Pathogens have always intrigued us with their diverse mechanisms to overcome host defense mechanisms. Having associated with research work on pathogens right from lower classes, made pathogens as the prime focus for all my further studies. I worked with an emerging foodborne pathogen Listeria, during my post-graduation on the topic: Effect of Simultaneous stress on the protein expression of Pathogenic Listeria spp. To find answer to some more of My questions, I chose Listeria as my organism of interest to work with for my doctorate studies.Currently pursuing my Doctorate at the School of Bio-engineering on the topic “Deconstructing Listeria Pathogenesis by molecular approaches”.
