Dr. K. V. Swamy has obtained his Ph. D in Biochemistry from Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh. He was joined Dr. D. Y. Patil Biotechnology and Bioinformatics Institute, Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune in 2007 as a faculty. He also worked as Lab-Administrative officer at Thyrocare Technologies Limited, Navi Mumbai. He was honoured with Young Scientist Award by ICMPHP, George Washington, USA in 2012, Research Award by Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune in 2019 and Kasturba Samshodan Yuvratna Puraskar in 2019. He received DST-SERB project under Young Scientist Scheme in 2016. He has 12 years of experience in the Biochemistry, bioinformatics, computational biology, molecular modelling, docking and dynamics and Systems biology.
